Calgary, Alberta – Swirltex, a leader in industrial wastewater treatment, is proud to announce its recent community project: cleaning up the Bow Riverside under Graves Bridge to celebrate World Water Day and support this year’s theme, “Water for Peace.” This endeavor symbolizes Swirltex’s dedication to environmental stewardship, community service, and promoting peace through water conservation.
The Swirltex team, driven by a shared passion for protecting nature, embarked on this activity not only to restore the beauty of the Bow River (a vital lifeline coursing through our beloved city) but also to reclaim the sanctity of the riverside environment, honor the essential role that water plays in sustaining life on our planet and promote the idea that access to clean water is essential for building peaceful communities.
Every piece of litter removed from the riverbank was a step toward creating a more sustainable and peaceful environment. This cleanup also exemplifies Swirltex’s commitment to Net zero wasted water through environmental action. “What we did isn’t just about making the riverbanks look nicer; it’s about using our expertise to promote peace through water conservation,” said Conor Murphy – Project Manager, Swirltex Inc.
In alignment with the “Water for Peace” theme of World Water Day 2024, the Swirltex team hopes that their cleanup efforts will inspire others to recognize the vital role of water in fostering peace and cooperation.
